Hi, I'm Jo — the heart behind Cozycoverups. I started creating dust covers for kitchen appliances in 2014, inspired by good design and a spider in my Kenwood chef!
We grew on eBay, then our own website, eventually selling to Amazon while making everything in the UK. Our covers were even recommended in Kenwood shops.
We kept going even through life's challenges — caring for my mum with MND, my breast cancer treatment, and fibromyalgia — but in the end it meant scaling back. My business became my lifeline, and every cover a labour of love. Over a decade on, thousands of handmade covers are in homes worldwide. Customers from 12 years ago still return for replacements.
Every cover is still made by hand here in the UK with the same diligence of fit, fabric and design; add ons include seam length pockets for all four sides, hanging loop at the bottom for when your appliance is being used, washable and the ability to fold up neatly when you have visitors and want to pop the cover in a drawer and show off your shiny machine! Whatever it is, from food mixers to Ninja air fryers!

Cozycoverups® are unique: each one designed for your machine
As all of our covers are designed to fit each machine differently the website works differently too. You need to add your appliance to the basket, this gives us the size you need and price to pay.
Next you need to choose your fabric. We have lots available, and if you don’t see what you like you can send us your own fabric, perhaps to match your curtains...
If you would like any optional extras just add them to your basket. You will see your cover developing in there bit by bit
I am nearly always available for a chat, so please try if you need some help. We can always create new sizes of covers for different appliances; in fact we encourage it!

Pot-T® The best tea cosy you will buy (in our opinion)
The Pot-T was created by Jo to solve a problem that her mother had - she could never find a tea cozy that worked, there were those that looked good that cost too much, and basic ones that did not work, she was not a fan of modern electric ones and prefered a traditional one that would last for years, would keep the tea hotter than anything else and was washable oh and looked nice too...
The Pot-T® does all of those things and is also insulated and curved so the heat does not escape at the back as most flat ones do. They are perfect, and to top it off they also come in 4 sizes h x l x d:
Maxi: 27cm x 31cm x 9cm
Standard: 24cm x 28cm x 9cm
Mini: 17cm x 20cm x 8cm
Cafetiere: 26cm x 20cm x 10cm
All Pot-T's are handmade by us and they use the same fabric as our covers so you can get one to match if you like or indeed add a front or side pocket for for accessories if you like as they are self supporting so stand up when not in use if you prefer, some customers have also added a hanging tag to avoid using the top tab.
